I bought this on dussehra 2019. Using for a long time I can say something in a better way. This is the best keyboard for you if u want to perform solo. This is one instrument band. You find everything in this.
    1) If you hv sense of rhythm, make your own rhythm with drum, percussion, snare, bass and chords which automatically changes with your play. Bollywood rhythms can be created easily.
    2) Play background music and record in phrase pads. Use while playing the song.
    3) a huge bank for tone registration gives you option to quick change of tone.
    4) Tone quality and effects are great.
    5) My instrument never hanged yet.
The only thing I disliked is the quality of keys. Keys make noise when played speedily. Casio must rectify the issue.

Sound quality is awesome not like the professional arranger but the sound quality is best on this price range. It’s not suitable for professional use but best for intermediate level you can learn and improve your playing skills.. It can also be used for stage performance as it has all popular tones with good sound quality..

Casio CTX-8000IN is really good but small things are missing like… There’s no Sound while pressing tempo Tap button. In Yamaha after tapping tempo will get rhythm automatically but here we need to press the start button.
And By comparing Yamaha Accomp sound is not good for me I don’t know what about others..
But Really awesome keyboard having more indian rhythms.. Good Quality

I have used this product for a while and it is a really good product according to the sound quality and the keys working perfectly, it has piano-type keys which will give you a real feel of the keyboard. You can definitely have a great time with this keyboard.

Go ahead and buy it, don’t think too much and also the product is of good quality without any damage.

And a few more things, if you are confused between the ctx-9000in and ctx-8000in, the difference is only

    1. The loudness of speakers – but how much is the difference, the one in ctx-8000in is soo loud itself that you will have to play it at 1/2 of its maximum volume and if you wish to play it only to yourself then you might have to keep the volume nearly to 1/4th of the max. volume, that means the ctx-9000in will be very loud, if you don’t need to perform for a small concert without speakers then I don’t think that you need so loudspeakers which are in ctx-9000in

    2. The navigation button on the left-hand side might provide some ease which I don’t think will create any difference during the use. In one, you have to read and press the button while in another you have to read and press the num pad, not that much of difference.

    3. Modulation button – yeah that is something which you would not be getting in ctx-8000in, but I don’t think you will be needing it if you are not thinking to produce your own music.

In conclusion – the difference is only of the speaker which is not so significant and yeah a modulation button which is rarely needed in common use.

According to me, it’s the best keyboard, but it’s you who will have to make the decision, but you can definitely trust me that this is really the perfect keyboard for you, I don’t think that only the modulation button is worth spending nearly 4k-5k more, if it is for you then you can go ahead and buy that or else –

Have a nice day and have a great time with this keyboard.

This is a review foe CASIO CTX8000IN / CTX 3000.

I am using this keyboard for over 1 month now. So I guess that’s a quite long time I have taken to fully understand this product.

I know their is no proper review of this product. So I am going to genuinely explain each and every aspect of it so that you can know what is the experience with this product after using it. This is going to be a bit long but trust me this will help to take the proper decision.

    1. Packaging & Delivery – Starting with packaging it came in factory box with just transparent plastic wrapped over it. Even the cardboard box got a little deformed but everything was okay inside the box. And delivery was straight forward just what amazon offers.

    2. Design & Build quality – One of the important factor of any product is design and build quality. Coming to that this product just blew me away. It looks stunning with red accents in speakers, buttons. Also the quality of plastic used is great. Display quality is awesome. But it is just a simple black ink display. Nothing special and it is common in this price range. The next thing that is good in this product is the metal grill over the speakers. A very good choice made by casio unlike other some brands uses cheap cloths to cover it. It looks better that Yamaha i400 & i500. Though I will talk about the keys quality in keys section below.

    3. Functionality – Trust me I bought this over any other model in price point of 18k INR because of Functionality it comes with. From hundreds of registration pad to hundreds of tones & rhythms. But seriously speaking I never even touched this functionality even till now. I just use the piano tones and that’s it. So if you just buying a keyboard for piano just look for sound quality and piano tones it offers. Don’t fall in the hype of Functionality. Functionality is only great for stage performers and pros who likes to mess with everything. Don’t make that mistake of choosing a keyboard just by its functionality. Go for sound and tones quality. Which is going to be our next point.

    4. Sound & Tones quality – Thank God through I choose this keyboard just for functionality it didn’t disappointed me because of its tones and sound quality. Damn man in this price point you are not going to get such quality tones and sound. It has 6W + 6W speakers whereas its big brother CTX9000IN or CTX5000 has 15W + 15W. Trust me the only difference between these two model is for speakers, modulation wheel, some more buttons and registration pad. Other than that it is same. That’s why I went with this model. The AIX sound source engine produces natural, true to life sound which is just outstanding in this price point. Casio nailed it. Another thing I forgot to mention is of Indian Tones. Its great but I still don’t understand who will like to play saxophone, violin or even strings on a keyboard. Otherwise its my opinion. Keyboard is just great for piano and other instruments which have keys type configuration like Pipe organ, harmonium.

    5. Keys Quality – Last but not the least the quality of keys only can justify the quality of keyboard. If the keys are garbage then nothing can change the fact that the keyboard is garbage too. And in this price point no one is giving good quality keys. Within one week the keys started making a noise (“Tak Tak”), Further investigation revealed that in this price point every keyboard do that. From “Yamaha” to “Casio”, ‘Korg”. Everyone do this cost cutting in keys. But did it bother that much? Actually not . It just works pretty perfect. Just like a new one. Just making a noise which sometimes may irritates and feel you worried but trust me its normal. Its a design flaw. Rather than that it has piano style switches with touch support. That means it will recognised the force you applied on this keys to press. It has 3 level sensitivity. But this keys are non-weighted keys. That means this keys are easy to press than a Piano key. I wish it has at least semi-weighted keys. It would be great for beginners. So a great keyboard.

    6. Other functionality/Ports – It has many more functionalities which no one offers. Hundreds of higher quality rhythms and tones. It has MIDI support that means you can use it as midi keyboard. It has two pedal ports(rare in this price point) for Sustain and Expression. It has a USB port for recording and playing. Just awesome for this price point.

    7. Operating System/ Software – A bit confusing I guess. You have to go and dig in for small settings. For like lowering down the screen contrast. (DO THIS IMMEDIATELY AFTER GETTING THE PRODUCT OR ELSE YOU WILL BE NOT GOING TO SEE PROPERLY INSTEAD OF TOP ANGLE.)

    8. Conclusion/Final Verdict – If you have just INR 18k price point then go with this. The reason why I recommend this over i400 and i500 is just because its quality. Look the i400 & i500 are just rebranded version of there old models. So it is quite outdated now. If you have more budget then go with Roland X30 or CTX9000IN/CTX5000(offers a great sound quality).

I will update it after 6 moths again for the next people who are going to buy this. A great option from casio. Though they need to improve a lot on keys. If you like my review then follow me on social medias by clicking on my profile photo. It will help a lot.

Thanks for reading. Hope it helpedyou a lot.
